making noise

Yesterday during speech therapy, Aron started to make noise. The therapist got him to make noise for almost five minutes. Unfortunately, no one was there from my family to witness this, but when the therapist recounted the incident to my dad, she was very excited. Apparently, making noise like this is a first step to regaining speech.

  2. Ahh that is so awesome! I let my girls group here in Australia know about Aaron and between all of us and myself, we have prayed for Aaron every night! I have been updating them of his progress, and I am very excited to share this with them tonight. We will keep praying and trusting God with this, and believing in His great love and plan for Aaron.

"Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments."
    Deuteronomy 7:9

  3. Thanks for the update Candace, it is so great to read about his progress. We will continue to pray for Shubin and that God gives him the strength that he needs in order to tolerate the therapy for longer periods of time, so that he can be moved to the facility that your family has in mind.

Shubin you keep making those noises!! Keep fighting!

Always in our thoughts & prayers,

    Loyda / Nathan

  12. I saw Aron yesterday and he was the most animated I'd seen since the accident. It's a slow but advancing road. I'm continuing to pray for his recovery and our trust in the Lord.
    Psalm 40:1-3
1 I waited patiently for the Lord to help me,
and he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 He lifted me out of the pit of despair,
out of the mud and the mire.
He set my feet on solid ground
and steadied me as I walked along.
3 He has given me a new song to sing,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see what he has done and be amazed.
They will put their trust in the Lord.

Bless you Shubins, Amy and friends
