Thursday Night Update

There was little news today, which is great news. Aron's condition today has been consistent, his ICP number is still in normal range. The aortic filter has not yet been placed. An ultrasound of his abdominal aortic vein was taken today, in preparation for the surgery.

The plan is to take him out of the induced coma tomorrow morning. This does not mean he will just open his eyes, they will take him out slowly and steadily. They expect to have reflex reaction by Sunday.

Jill and Tom just came out of the room with Aron and after they prayed his intracranial pressure had gone from 11 to 9. Awesome!

    God's power is amazing! So thankful for His hands on Aron. Thank you to Jordan(?) for giving us updates in the morning and evening. They encourage my heart. Thank you also for letting us know that recent procedures and side effects are normal. God, thank you for holding our dear friend and colleague securely in your hands, and thank you for providing him with such amazing care from those you've blessed as doctors and nurses.

    Thanking God for his daily grace. His mercies are new every morning! I saw you sleeping yesterday and it reminded me of the many holidays that we have seen you taking a snooze on the couch. You play hard and sleep hard. Time to wake up Aron. We love you.

    I work with Marsha (Debbie's sister), and she told me about Aron & asked if I would put him on our church pray roll that I send out weekly.

    I just wanted to let you know that there are tons of people praying for him!

    Our thoughts and prayers are with Aron & your family daily.
