Hope


I want to thank everybody for all of their love, prayers, and support for Aron, his family, friends, and myself. While I was finishing up at Oxford, it was comforting for me to know how many people Aron had surrounding him and praying for him.

I want everybody to know the full situation, so that if God does choose to heal Aron, the honor and glory goes to Him alone. The doctors are telling us not to expect a full recovery and that we should be happy if he opens his eyes and recognizes us.

But I keep reminding myself that to a certain extent, what the doctors say does not matter. Our hope is in Jesus. I fully believe that He can perform a miracle and completely heal and restore Aron to us, if it is His will. If Aron is restored in this life on earth, it will be a miracle that comes from God alone—to Him be the glory. Only He has the power to heal Aron. I continually pray for that miracle, that Aron will be restored to us and that he will wake up praising God. Keep hoping in the Lord. He is faithful.

Isaiah 40:31— “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

  5. aron and amy, I feel like I know you, aron always spoke about you with a twinkle in his eye. I believe that all things...all things work together for those who love God...We love aron and send our prayers daily to God for his recovery and courage to accept the things we can not change.. We are with you all....with HOPE...and faith......

  6. I am fully believing in that miracle, Amy. While sad to hear what happened and feeling anguish for you and his family, there hasn't been a point where I have doubted God's power over the situation. I pray daily for Aron and for all of you. Thank you for your frankness about his condition, but for reminding us that He that is greater than us is in us. (1 John 4:4)

  8. Amy; I have never had the pleasure of meeting you,but feel as if I know you through Aron. I have had the joy of working with him in his 7th. grade science class. Many times he spoke of you, your accomplishments, and his many hopes for your future together. HOPE is truly the key word here. Regardless of the doctors prognosis,we must continue to hope and pray for Aron.While I understand that there is only so much that they can do,we all know that there is a power beyond theirs. I will continue to HOPE and Pray. I'll also continue to shed some tears about my friend. Love to you Amy and his friends and family. Kathy@GMS

    with kindest regards, Do Not accept this bad report! This condition is entirely the work of the devil, whom God has given us authority over. Last time I checked the scriptures, the devil had the job of Killing, stealing & destroying, But Jesus has come to give us life & life more abundantly (to the fullest)! I am expecting nothing less than fullness of LIFE for Aron! Do not be intimidated, don't be afraid, only believe. We have seen people healed of worse comas than this, who had major brain trama & no responce. This is No problem with God! Do not look at the things which are seen.... But at the unseen. "the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells inside of you & will also give LIFE to your Mortal bodies". We pray with confident assurance.. That "by His stripes (scorgings) Aron was healed" Isiah 53:5 & 1 Peter 2:24. Psalm 103 Forget not all His benefits, who forgives all of your iniquities, who heals ALL your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction!" Yes! God is good! We believe! We'd love to come & pray for him in person! My husband will be in OC after next Tuesday for a week. 858-254-6330 Todd. He sees people healed all the time, everyday.     I am standing with confidence that in Jesus Christ alone we will see the miricle of healing. In this life and the life to come. May God receive all the glory.
    For now I will stand in awe of the One who heals the sick and gives sight to the blind, the One who saves souls and raises the dead. I agree with the prayer and truth of Isaiah 40:31 for you and those of us who hope.

I'm so glad to hear of all the improvements you have made so far! I do have, however, the knowledge of immeasurable depth of love, a love so deep, that your hope is eternal because anything else is unfathomable. Stay strong family, loved ones, Aron.

  15. Amy, your courage and faith are an inspiration to all of us! As the days add up, God is testing my patience. But you, Aron, his family and friends have shown us how God is in working in all of this. It is clear Aron has already touched many lives in a profound way. I am confident he will continue to do that and God has even bigger things in store for him. You two are a joy to be around and your faith and love affects all who have had the pleasure to experience it. I think about and pray for you guys every day.   17. Prayer is the most powerful tool we have. Hope is our comfort and we need to cling to it. I have asked my family in PA to put him on their prayer chains and also my friends in TX are doing the same.

  18. We have posted prayer requests with many of our friends, one Liz, wanted me to pass this on:Amy,

    Our little girl was in a coma for 11 months. The doctors gave us zero
    prognosis. She was a very healthy 5 year old child when this happened to
    her. She caught an airborne virus that anyone could of caught we believe,
    at school, and it went straight to her brain. We believed that it is God's
    will to see her whole again and with God ALL things are possible. She was
    completely brain damaged. I took care of her at home for 9 months. After
    11 months God healed her completely. God didn't heal her in the hospital or
    else the doctors would have received all the glory. He healed her at home
    and she was and is a tremendous testimony of God's glory, grace and mercy to
    many who witnessed this great miracle. We are praying for Aaron and we
    believe the best for him and you. Believe for the best, and trust God for
    the rest. I tell people, "It's not about having GREAT faith in God, It's
    about having faith in a GREAT GOD.

    Both my girls know Aron, Diane remembers having him in her Sunday school class. We will continue to pray for you both each day. God is our strength and our hope. My favorite verse is Phil. 4:4-9. We are letting our requests for Aron's healing be known, and we are believing in the power of Jesus to heal and restore.

  21. Dear Amy,

    I am believing for a miracle for Aron. God did one for my daughter, Brandi Lynn. When she was 23 years old she hit a semi-tractor trailer carrying 1.5 inch steel sheets to cover streets during construction on the road.

    She had 23 broken bones, bleeding on the brain, ruptured spleen, 1.5 inches missing of her femur with all the bones broken in her neck. The dr.s said if she was moved wrong she would be paralyzed from the neck down. The most critical time was when her blood count went lower than life could sustain and they gave her almost a total replacement of her blood. That time was a time we took dominion authority over her and trusted folks and us to pray God's prayer for her to fulfill her destiny. In 7 months she was back in college but she was not completely healed until about 2 years later after many surgeries and therapy. Most folks do not even know she was in such a horrible accident because her scars even tan.

    So you see God does miracles. I pray this is the case for Aron. God bless you and I believe God give you your heart's desire.
