Tuesday

Just talked to Candace, she let me know there has been some more movement from Aron. He bit down on his intubation tube today, and he is reacting to people in the room. Even though his reaction is small, the celebration is huge! He was moving his lips as family and friends spoke to him tonight.

His vitals have remained normal again for another day. So today was one more good day. His brain pressure monitor was also removed today, the doctor stated he no longer needed it. It seems with every day, Aron is slowly being brought back to us. Each day that passes fortifies my faith that Aron will be with us once again. God is good.

I want to thank Candace and her husband Tony for keeping me updated when I could not be near. Thank You! They have a newborn, Augie, and he is awesome!

I also want to thank James and Jackie Fiorillo for helping me maintain this website and supporting Aron's family and myself. And of course, every person praying for Aron. Your comments and your contributions are truly appreciated by everyone close to Aron.

  9. I too am a faithful checker of this blog. I am so encouraged. I picture Jesus' hands encapsulating his brain. Aron knows this personal Jesus. He gave his life to Him. HE cares and I am sure very pleased and also touched that so many are seeking Him for Aron. God is a personality (among many other attributes) and I picture Him moved by you'all. What a tribute to Aron ....all of you and your love for him. He is a rich guy. I cannot think of many more important reasons to live than to live and love friends and family. Lets continue to spoil our boy with love.

  10. To God be the Glory! What a joy to pray with you, believe with you and see Gods hand on Aron. My wife has prayed specifically that Aron would awaken completely, just in time to recieve his beautiful friend Amy when she arrives. I love that and pray for a sweet reunion.
Jesus loves you and so do the Bradfords!!!

One of our sons name is Aaron and we will stand with the Shubins in prayer and in Christ on Aron's behalf. Thank you for this blog. Sincerely the Talbotts

  14. I, along with my friend Chris Anderson, saw Aron last night, and was pleased that he's improving day by day, slowly but surely. It was also nice to see his Mom and Dad, his Uncle and Aunt, plus life-long friend Jordan. After saying a few words to Aron, then congregating in the hallway with Aron's family and friends, I met Aron's sister Candace, who told me the doctors gave her good news yesterday about Aron...he's progressing well. The support from the entire medical team, as well as thoughts and prayers from family, friends, Aron's students (with signed posters in his hospital room) and fellow teachers are incredible! We're all in the "believe" mode, and are patiently awaiting to see Aron awake soon.
